Distribution Network Planning Based on Interval Algorithm and Paradigm Learning

By taking into account the uncertainties in distribution network planning, an interval mathematical planning model for distribution network is developed. With the characteristics of radial operation in mind, this paper presents a simple and practicable interval power flow calculating method for distribution networks. Modifications to the paradigm learning of the genetic algorithm based on agent behavior and paradigm learning published have been made to adapt to solving the interval model of distribution network planning. Example results show that a robust planning scheme can be obtained from the algorithm proposed.
