The "Direct Smear Atlas" is an extensive compilation of quality photomicrographs (230+ different images) taken from Gram-stained smear preparations of actual patient specimens. This CD is designed to help the user achieve proficiency in reading gram stains. It is designed for quick study, so you can choose images based on specimen site, morphology, diagnosis, or alphabetically by species or genus. It includes a randomized test for competency assessment. Use alone or with the spiral-bound atlas, "Direct Smear Atlas: A Monograph of Gram-Stained Preparations of Clinical Specimens" is Windows/Network Compatible.
