The textbook is designed for training of those lecturers and experts who plan to take part in the development and implementation of new study programmes compatible with the National Qualifications Framework of Ukraine and European qualifications frameworks. The textbook introduces the higher education systems in European countries, the main objectives, principles and documents adopted within the Bologna process, methods and means of theit implementing to the system of higher education in Ukraine. The analysis of the higher education systems in European countries was conducted. The features of the Bologna process documents and other international summits on development of higher education were presented. Main objectives, principles and stages of the formation of European Higher Education Area were as well as pecularities of European Community Course Credit Transfer System were presented. Basic aspects of strategies of Student-Centered Learning and Lifelong Learning were highlighted.
