On the interaction of (200÷300) MeV K+-mesons in emulsion

The mean free path for (200÷300) MeV K+-meson reactions with emulsion nuclei (other than hydrogen) is found to be (60±6) cm. One scatter from hydrogen in 92 m of track length is described and the data on elastic and inelastic reactions are given. No evidence of π-meson production was seen. The nuclear effects of the inelastic reactions are discussed.
