Cross-cover of oral and maxillofacial surgery out-of-hours: an audit of a new adult treatment clinic

Abstract We present our experience of launching the adult treatment clinic - a daytime clinic for semiurgent referrals to oral and maxillofacial surgery (OMFS). This has proved to be an effective way in which cross-covering junior doctors could refer patients for a safe and efficient review in a supervised environment.
