HF infrared emission from the reaction of atomic fluorine with 2,2′-azobisisobutane, azodicarbonic acid dimethyl ester and t-butylisonitrile

Abstract In the reactive systems F + N 2 ( t -C 4 H 9 ) 2 , F + N 2 (COOCH 3 ) 2 and F + t -C 4 H 9 NC, infrared emission spectra were recorded from HF in the fundamental region under relaxation-free conditions. The primary vibrational and rotational distributions were obtained. The vibrational distributions are for F + N 2 (C 4 H 9 ): N 1 : N 2 : N 3 =0.46:0.49:0.05; for F + N 2 (COOCH 3 ) 2 : N 1 : N 2 : N 3 =0.43:0.47:0.10; for F + t -C 4 H 9 NC: N 1 : N 2 : N 3 =0.46:0.51:0.03.
