Managerial implications for the pharmacy as an NHS actor. After analysing the characteristics of the pharmaceutical sector and the drugs expenditure, the work explores the role of the pharmacy on health prevention. The study shows how the pharmacy is becoming the first reference point for patients and the strongest link with NHS organisation for the delivery of prvention and information programmes.
