espanolLa tiflitis es una enterocolitis caracteristica de pacientes inmunodeprimidos y afecta al ciego e ileon terminal. Ocurre como resultado de una lesion en la mucosa de un huesped con deterioro del sistema inmune. Presentamos un caso de enterocolitis neutropenica (EN) o tiflitis, su evolucion y los hallazgos por imagen, resaltando la importancia de reconocerlos para realizar un diagnostico diferencial adecuado y asi aplicar el tratamiento mas conveniente. EnglishTyphlitis is a characteristic enterocolitis of immunosuppressed patients and it affects the cecum and terminal ileum. It occurs as a result of a injury in the mucosa in a patient with deterioration of the immune system. We present a case of neutropenic enterocolitis (EN) or typhlitis, its evolution and the imaging findings, highlighting the importance of recognizing them to perform an adequate differential diagnosis and thus apply the most convenient treatment.
