Clinical Use of Carbon Nanoparticles Tracer in gastrectomy for gastric cancer

Objective:To study the effect of Carbon nanoparticles tracer in gastrectomy for gastric cancer by carbon nanopartical tracer.Methods:The clinical data of 51 cases with gastric cancer receiving gastrectomy were analyzed retrospectively.Results:2 cases were fail to trace,22-37 lymph nodes percase were dissected(an average of 27.2±5.1/case) in other 49 cases.The recurrence rate of half year was 3.9%.The regional lymph nodes were stained significantly.Conclusion:Carbon nanoparticles tracer is useful during lymph node dissection in gastrectomy for gastric cancer.It is helpful to identify lymph node during operation.It can increase the number of dissected lymph nodes,reduce surgical trauma and cause little radioactive pollution.
