Multiphysics modeling for a new de-icing technology in aeronautics

This paper focuses on the development of an electro-magneto-mechanical model for a new wing de-icing solution proposed by aeronautics industry. Its operation is based on Laplace forces phenomena and mechanical plate deformation effect. The goal is to obtain a model that enables further design improvements. Optimization process and results will be briefly discussed.
