Senile Proximal Humeral Fracture Treated with Locking Proximal Humeral Plate of 16 Cases

Objective To investigate the effect of fixed steel board on senile proximal humeral fracture.Methods Applied fixed locking proximal humeral plate to 16 cases and followed for average 10.5 months.Results There was no wound infection or loose internal fix or un-cured fracture after operation.Scored the shoulder function by Neer standard,5 cases were excellent,8 cases were better,2 cases were good,1 case was bad,the excellent rate was 81.25%.Conclusion Fix locking proximal humeral plate at proximal humerus is firm and fast for senile proximal humeral fracture with less complication,good fracture cure,helpful for early exercise and satisfactory effect.
