[Self-expanding cup CLS. 10 years results].

2004
The CLS acetabular cup, is a hemispherical, self-expanding cementless cup. The CLS cup initial stability is achieved by expansion-shell. Secondary the bone, which grows on the surface of the titanium, over the durable stability. We report a retrospective study of 26 CLS cups. The mean follow-up was 134 months. Clinical results were evaluated by Merle d'Aubigne scale, witch revealed that 96% of the patients presented good or excellent results. Radiologically, 100% of cup showed stable fixation by bony without signs of aseptic loosening in all patients.
