Resonant magneto-optical Kerr effect measurement system with polarization analysis using a high harmonic generation laser

Abstract We developed a resonant magneto-optical Kerr effect (RMOKE) measurement system that includes polarization analysis by using a high harmonic generation laser. Energy components around the Fe 3 p absorption edge were separated by using multilayer mirrors. By using rotating-analyzer ellipsometry, we demonstrated longitudinal RMOKE measurements from the Fe(001)- p (1 × 1) terminated with oxygen.
