The following article from Diseases of the Esophagus “Deficient expression of human leukocyte antigen class I antigen-processing machinery components in human esophageal squamous cell carcinoma” by Q. Liu, B. Liu, X. Song and Q. Zhao, published online on 28 June 2008, has been retracted by agreement among the authors, the journal Editor-in-Chief Claude Deschamps, and Wiley-Blackwell as the authors determined there were inconsistencies with the original data found on further experiments.
