espanolLa infeccion por hepatitis B es un problema de salud publica, donde segun la Organizacion Panamericana de la Salud, Venezuela presenta una prevalencia intermedia (2,2 a 8%) y el mayor factor asociado es la exposicion ocupacional a objetos punzocortantes, por lo que los organismos internacionales de salud indican la vacunacion. Es de alli que surge esta investigacion que determino la cobertura de vacunacion contra la hepatitis B en trabajadores que laboran en el ambulatorio “Dr. Efrain Abad” y Direccion Municipal de Salud Girardot del estado Aragua. EnglishHepatitis B infection is a public health problem, which according to the Pan American Health Organization, Venezuela has an intermediate prevalence (2.2 – 8 percent) and the highest associated factor is occupational exposure to sharp objects, therefore, international health agencies indicate vaccination. This issue prompted the research that determined the vaccination coverage against hepatitis B in workers at "Dr. Abbot Ephraim " Outpatient Clinic and Girardot Aragua State
