ANALYSIS ON STABILITY OF HIGH AND STEEP SLOPE BY LIMIT EQUILIBRIUM METHOD AND FLAC3D SOFTWARE

The end slope of an open-pit mine has a height of 278 ~350 m and a slope angle of 42 ~ 48°, which belongs to a typical high and steep slope. Combining with the geological survey data and the current situation of the open slope, six typical slopes are selected for slope stability analysis by using limit equilibrium method and FLAC3D numerical simulation software in order to ensure the safe production of the mine. It comprehensively evaluates the stability of the open-pit slope to provide suggestions for slope safety management.
