Recognition of Active Pediatric Seizures: Prehospital Provider Sensitivity and Specificity

Background Emergency medical services (EMS) provide the first line of treatment for out of hospital pediatric seizures. Seizures are the most common pediatric neurologic emergency and account for around 15% of all pediatric EMS calls.
