Potential and Electric Field Distributions around the Carbon Nanotubes

By means of numerical calculation method and artifices, the paper studies the potential distribution for the simulation model of single carbon nanotube and carbon nanotube array. Finite difference method is used. The effects of the height and radius of the carbon nanotubes have been discussed. For the carbon nanotube array, the field enhancement factor and the effect of carbon nanotube density have been studied.
