Application of soft reduction technology in slab continuous casting machine

The present article describes how to solve the problems of stability,precision,procedure,process technology and managerial system of the equipments independently,normalize their operation and thereby shape up an unique technical know-how with its own characteristics in the process of application of the home made soft reduction device in the slab continuous casting machine of the Steel-making Plant of Mingguang Co.,Ltd,of FuJian Sansteel.Practice proves that by use of the soft reduction technology,the central segregation and central looseness have been effectively controlled,Center Segregation C-type comes up to more than 95% and ≤1.0 central looseness more than 90%,and the internal quality of the slab prominently improved and needs for development of more steel grades satisfied as well.
