OBESIDADE EM ESCOLARES: UM OLHAR A PARTIR DOS DADOS DA PESQUISA DE ORÇAMENTOS FAMILIARES OBESITY IN SCHOOL : A VIEW FROM THE BUDGETS OF RESEARCH DATA FAMILY

Obesity is a condition in which a person has too much body fat , reaching all age groups , configured as a disease of multifactorial order, being considered a public health problem. This study aims to analyze the data available on the Consumer Expenditure Survey conducted for the 20082009 period , the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics , made available in 2011 , about the child and adolescent obesity . It is a study of the analytical type , which had the instruments to data released by the IBGE / PNAD and literature. As a result it can be seen that the proportion increases obesity in adolescents aged 10-19 years, reaching 4.9% of the population investigated . It is concluded in this study that obesity is a result of a number of factors that favor its development and maintenance , increasing at a fast pace in children and adolescents
