Complications of EVAR With Snorkels, Chimneys, and Sandwich Techniques

Abstract The chimney, snorkel, and periscope techniques allow off-the-shelf endovascular repair of complex aortic pathologies involving the visceral arteries, such as aneurysms involving the juxtarenal, pararenal, and thoracoabdominal aorta and the aortic arch; however, their use may be complicated by various technical aspects. Careful planning and precise technique are essential to provide satisfactory results.
