Distribution patterns and coincidence of sesamoid bones at metatarsophalangeal joints.

Purpose Our aim was to identify the incidence and distribution of sesamoid bones plantar to the metatarsophalangeal (MTP) joints in adults, and to evaluate patterns of coincidence among these sesamoid bones.
