Analysis of the clinical effect of N-acetyl-glutamine therapy for generalized anxiety disorder

Objective To explore the clinical effect of N-acetyl-glutamine therapy on generalized anxiety disorder.Methods Patients with anxiety were injected by N-acetyl-glutamine.All patients were assessed by Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA),in pretreatment and 10 days after treatment.Results There were significant differences in the total scores of HAMA between pretreatment and after treatment(P0.01).Conclusion N-acetyl-glutamine is good therapy in the treatment of generalized anxiety disorder with less side effects.
