The Executive Committee of the Council on Postsecondary Education met June 10, 2011, at 8 a.m. (ET) at Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky.

2011 
The purpose of the meeting was to review the responses to the surveys pertaining to President King’s annual evaluation. Governor Patton summarized the results. • 59 surveys were sent out; 36 were completed. • 13 members of the General Assembly were given the opportunity to respond; 3 responded. • Governor Beshear and three of his staff were given the opportunity to respond; 1 response was received from the Governor’s office staff. • 8 university presidents, the KCTCS president, and the AIKCU president were given the opportunity to respond; 7 responded. • 16 Council members were given the opportunity to respond; 15 responded. • 10 CPE senior staff were given the opportunity to respond; 5 responded. The Executive Committee was pleased overall with the responses. Governor Patton said the results will be helpful to Mr. King and the Council. The committee was disappointed in the number of responses received from the Governor’s office and the legislature. Will need to work on these groups next year.
