The Analysis and Research of Pre-mill's Performance Based on DEM

The structure and working principle of a new type of pre-mill have been introduced in this paper. In order to analysis the performance of the mill, the influence and range of selection for several main working parameters(rolling speed,fill rate,the ball match) on the mill have been analyzed.And based on the DEM simulation analyzed the crushing effect of single factors for working parameters. Put forward made use of the number of bond breakage as a measure of the crushing effect. Use pre-mill to test the main working parameters on the orthogonal experiment,got the best parameters combination in average particle size of the pre-mill is:the upper linear speed for 9m/s,lower linear speed for 10 m/s,fill rate for 30%,the ball match for 0.7. Consistent with the simulation results basically.
