High-Grade Meningiomas and Hemangiopericytomas
2020
High-grade meningiomas (grade II and III) as well as hemangiopericytomas are aggressive intracranial tumors requiring multimodal and repeated therapies where radiation oncology accounts for the major column complementary to a surgical resection. In recent years stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) has increasingly been applied instead of conventional radiation therapy. The aim of this chapter is to supply a brief summary about SRS for these entities with a focus on CyberKnife RS.
