Conference Scene: Improving healthcare efficiency

The International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research recently sponsored the 17th Annual International Meeting. The meeting represented researchers and practitioners including pharmacists, physicians, economists and other professionals involved in pharmacoeconomic analysis and health outcomes assessment, as well as users of this information in healthcare decisions such as in hospitals, managed care and pharmacy benefit design organizations personnel.
