Primary Discussion of Intolerable Headache

Intolerable headache is described as severe headache accompanied with nausea,vomiting and/or disturbance of consciousness.Position of this disease is in the brain,and the pathogenesis is mainly flaring up of real fire and impatency of toxic heat.It is correlated with the critical illnesses caused by intracranial hypertension in modern western medicine.Angong Niuhuang Pill is effective in clearing away heat and toxic materials,expelling sputum and opening orifice,and stabilizing Niwan Gong.In this research,the theoretical,clinical and pharmacological mechanisms of Angong Niuhuang Pill in the treatment of intolerable headache are studied and theoretical Abstraction is done.Some new ideas of treating intracranial hypertension are proposed in this study.
