Wind turbine with orientable blades delimiting a closed surface and overlapping in a folded configuration

2015
A wind turbine (1) comprises a rotatable structure (2) having a support (3) freely rotating around a central axis (4) on which it is mounted and a plurality of blades (5) mounted on the support (3) swingably so that the rotary structure (2) varies between a deployed configuration in which each blade (5) in a deployed position relative to the support (3) and a folded configuration in which each blade (5) in a folded position with respect to the support (3). The blades (5) have shapes such space in the folded configuration, first the set of blades (5) delimit a closed three-dimensional surface without gap with respect to the plane passing through the central axis ( 4), and secondly a successive overlap of the blades (5) adjacent is present.
