Hepatic artery thrombosis (HAT) occurring after liver transplantation (LT)is a signifi cant complication with a reported incidence of 5% in adults and 9% to 18% in children (1, 2); it can lead to septic complications related to bile leak, bilioma, abscess or cholangitis, forcing an immediate or delayed retransplantation.
