Ball-throwing continuous indexing mechanism for petroleum drilling

2015
The invention relates to a petroleum drilling tool, in particular to a ball-throwing continuous indexing mechanism for petroleum drilling. An upper shell, a side-pass shell and a lower connector are connected in order, a ball seat is mounted in the upper shell, the lower end of the ball seat is abutted to a spindle, the ball seat and the spindle may move up and down, the inner wall of the upper shell at the lower end of the ball seat is provided with an upper groove and a lower groove in order, the lower groove is deeper than the upper groove, the spindle is peripherally provided with a side-pass flow passage, a seal seals the side-pass flow passage and is connected to the inner wall of the lower end of the upper shell, the sidewall of the upper end of the side-pass shell is provided with a flow passage, the spindle seals the flow passage, the outer wall of the spindle is provided with a slide, the side-pass shell is provided with a pin, and one inner end of the pin is extended into the slide in the outer wall of the spindle. Continuous rotating may be achieved through ball throwing so as to achieve continuous rotational positioning, continuous telescoping positioning, and multiple opening and closing of the side passage. The defect that an existing mechanism does not have the function of rotating and telescoping achieved by continuous indexing is overcome.
