β-TG and PF4 in the Diagnosis of Thrombosis
1985
In vitro studies of platelet aggregability have been useful in the evaluation of platelet function disorders and in monitoring pharmacological agents. However, these studies are not valid if applied to thromboembolic disorders. Since the application of these methodologies is limited, the dosage of platelet release material has been suggested because they can better demonstrate platelet activation in vivo.
