Triple Regge analysis of inclusive lambda production in K+p and Pi+p interactions at 250 GeV/c

A triple Regge analysis is performed of inclu­ sive A production in the proton fragmentation region of K + -+ A + X and % + -> A + X at 250 GeV/c. Slope and intercept of the leading strange meson trajectory are de­ termined. The results obtained here are compared with those of other experiments. Inclusive A production has been studied in the frame­ work of the triple Regge model in the proton fragmenta­ tion region of pp(_ 1-4), 7t - p ( 5), J£" p (6- 8) and K +p interactions (9,10). However, in only few of these experi­ ments the data have been analysed at large enough ener­ gies and with sufficient statistics. In this paper we apply the triple Regge analysis to the reactions
