Evaluación clínica y radiográfica de un implante de diámetro reducido en una restauración unitaria

We performed a clinical and radiographic evaluation of a narrow-diameter implant (NDI), with SLActive® surface, registering several parameters in a single-unit restoration. After placement of narrow-diameter implant, we performed the analysis of the marginal bone level (MBL) in 4 moments. We also recorded the pink esthetic score (PES), modified plaque index (mPI), modified sulcus bleeding index (mSBI), peri-implant probing depth (PPD), and biological and mechanical complications. The MBL was 0.05 mm at 6 months and 0.10 mm at 1 year. The initial PES was 12 passing to a value of 14 at 6 months and 1 year. No biological or mechanical complications were found.
