Diffuse skeletal cystic angiomatosis: MR and CT findings

1996
Diffuse skeletal cystic angiomatosis is a rare disorder characterized by multiple cystic bone lesions. Most patients also have visceral involvement. The lesions may be detected due to local pain, swelling, and pathologic fracture, or they may be discovered as an incidental finding on radiographs performed for unrelated reasons. MR findings have been reported in only one previous patient who had a solitary femoral lesion due to cystic angiomatosis [1].
