Tobacco rib breaking machine

The invention discloses a tobacco rib breaking machine which comprises a machine frame, a hob cutter roller, a convey rubber roller and a driving device, wherein the hob cutter roller, the convey rubber roller and the driving device are arranged on the machine frame; the driving device drives the hob cutter roller and the convey rubber roller to rotate in the reverse direction; a clearance used for breaking ribs is kept between the hob cutter roller and the convey rubber roller; and the hob cutter roller comprises a rolling shaft and circular blades fixedly sleeved on the rolling shaft. When the tobacco rib breaking machine is in use, the driving device is started firstly, the driving device drives the hob cutter roller and the convey rubber roller to rotate in the reverse direction, and the tobacco leaves are placed in the rib breaking clearance of the hob cutter roller and the convey rubber roller with the leaf veins at the thicker end facing the hob cutter roller, so that under the equidirectional dragging force generated when the hob cutter roller and the convey rubber roller rotate in the reverse direction, the tobacco leaves pass through the clearance; and during the passing process, leaf stems or chief veins which are thicker than the leaf surfaces are lacerated by the circular blades so as to realize rib breaking, and the rapid rib breaking of the tobacco is realized.
