A Study of Smart Cancer Detection System Using Image Processing and Deep Learning

Nowadays in medical field, tremendous innovations are anticipated to diagnose some life-threatening diseases like cancer. Hence, in this proposed work, Deep learning technique with image processing has been proposed for diagnosing the cancer. The drawback associated with the existing technique can be overcome by this proposed work. In the existing method like biopsy, the samples of the affected area can be taken and processed for identifying the cancer cells. But in this work, the image of the affected portion is captured using image processing using either an ultrasonic image or MRI image. Deep learning concept is then applied to classify the input image as cancerous or non-cancerous based on pretrained net developed using MATLAB software.
