Expressions of proliferation cell nuclear antigen and CD133 protein in the tissue of colon cancer and its correlation

2017
Objective To analysis the proliferation cell nuclear antigen (Ki-67) protein and protein expression of CD133 and its correlation with prognosis in patients with colon cancer tissues. Methods Using immunohistochemical streptavid-in-peroxidase (SP) method and Western blotting to detect Ki-67 and CD133 in colon cancer tissue andin the tissue adjacent to carcinoma of 80 cases with colon cancer. Results Colon cancer tissues Ki-67, the expression of CD133 positive rate were 70.0%, 90.0%, higher than the expression of tissue adjacent to carcinoma. Colon tissue of Ki-67, the expression of CD133 positive associated with TNM stage and lymph nodes (χ2=5.32, 9.47, P=0.030, 0.041). Conclusion Ki-67, CD133 play an important role in the spread of the transfer in the occurrence and development of colon cancer and tumor cells, can reflect the occurrence, invasion of colon cancer as effective index.
