Vibratory urticaria-angioedema: further insights into the response patterns to vortex provocation test.

2020
Vibratory urticaria/angioedema refers to evanescent reactions elicited by vibratory stimuli. In 1972, Patterson coined the term "vibratory angioedema", to name a hereditary variant involving one family showing angioedema features. It also applies to sporadic cases. An autosomal dominant variant of "vibratory urticaria" with hives involving Lebanese families with ADGRE2 mutations has also been described.
