The application value research of 16 row multi-slice spiral CT in the diagnosis of occult fracture

Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of 16 row multi-slice spiral CT in occult fracture. Methods A total of 58 patients with occult fracture in Quanzhou Orthopedic-Traumatological Hospitial of Fujian Traditional Chinese Medicine University from March 2017 to March 2018 were selected as the subjects.The patients were examined by routine X-ray examination and 16 row multi-slice spiral CT (MSCT). The results of the final operation were accurate, and the diagnostic accuracy, specificity and sensitivity of the two kinds of examination methods were observed. Results Of the 58 patients, 49 cases were confirmed by the operation, and 9 cases by others, The diagnostic accuracy, specificity and sensitivity of the 16 detector row MSCT were 93.10%, 88.89% and 93.88%, Which were higher than those of X-ray examination (82.76%, 66.67% and 73.47% ), the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusions The 16 row multislice spiral CT has higher diagnostic accuracy in occult fracture, and its diagnostic value is higher than conventional X-ray examination, which is worth promoting.
