Sicherheit von Propankälteanlagen in der gewerblichen Anwendung

The use of hydrocarbons as refrigerants for commercial applications leads to particular demands in safety and design of the refrigeration plant. The basis for each risk assessment is detailed identification of potential sources of hazards. Based on an extensive safety conception a stategy for the design of a milk cooling plant was elaborated. The prototype of the plant with a cooling capacity of 15 kW at -5°C evaporating temperature was constructed and put into operation.
