EFFECT OF HAZ MICROSTRUCTURE ON TOUGHNESS OF 0025Ni7Mo3N DUPLEX STAINLESS STEEL

Toughness and Simulated HAZ microstructure of the multi-layer welding for 00Cr25Ni7Mo3N duplex stainless steels with thermal simulation technology were studied. Results showed that quantities and morphologies of γphrase, the sizes of ferrite grain and the precipitation phrases had significantly effected on the HAZ toughness. Impact toughness reached to 224J with 20KJ/cm heat input when the first and the second peak temperature was 1300℃ and 1100℃ respectively. The test results has been provided an important basis for 00Cr25Ni7Mo3N duplex stainless steels.
