AbstractIn Mali, the population of street children has been increasing for a decade, the main difficulty mentioned is tofeed themselves. The objective of this study was to analyze the prevalence of malnutrition and its determinantsin street children aged 6 months to 15 years in the district of Bamako. We carried out a descriptive transversalstudy which took place in Bamako from November 2017 to February 2018, it concerned children from 06months to 15 years, their mothers or babysitters who were present on the sites the most frequented. The data wasentered on EPI Data 3.5.1, transferred to ENA for SMART for standardization and analyzed on SPSS 21.0. Theage group 6-23 months was more represented (58.2%) with, the prevalence of underweight was 29.9%, 25.4%for growth retardation and 35.8% for wasting. The education level of the mothers and the sex of the child had asignificant relationship with the PI with respectively p = 0.04 and 0.03. The prevalence of forms of malnutritionwas high among street children, the vulnerability factors studied had no relation to malnutrition.Keywords: malnutrition, vulnerability, street children Bamako
