The invention relates to a device for cutting cuttable material from paper materials or paperlike stackable materials (2), comprising a cutting device accommodating three cutting blades (4,5), wherein two simultaneous side blades (5) and a phase-shifted front blade (4) cut at least three sides of the cuttable material (2), in addition to further mechanisms ensuring at least the transport functions of the cuttable material (2) wherein the cutting device is provided with at least one control circuit or control unit (20,21) for defined interruption of the movement of the cutting blades (4,5) and at least one control circuit or control unit to position the cuttable material (3).
