In Nature Medicine, Jerby-Arnon et al . present a single-cell dataset for synovial sarcoma that reveals a novel 'core oncogenic program' driven by SS18–SSX, with implications for treatment strategies based on epigenetics, cell-cycle control, and immune augmentation.
