An Audience Positioning Method for High-Fidelity Sound System

This paper aims at audience positioning using microphone array and help the high-fidelity sound system to improve the sound effect. When the audience is at different position, the sound from different speakers will not arrive at the same time. It can make the sound effect more real to adjust the delay and loudness of the sound system. Mirror source principle is proposed under near-field multi-source positioning to solve the sound wave reflection. In addition, to make it more suitable for near field indoor positioning, multiple signal classification algorithm is improved in this paper. Simulation results show that the positioning error is within 40mm, which proves that the method in the paper is effective and practical.
