Unresectable pancreatic cancer is a challenging entity to treat given the spectrum of options that can be offered to patients. With regards to radiotherapy, it has been utilized both in the definitive intent and palliative intent. With definitive intent it can improve progression free survival. With palliative intent it can reduce pancreatic pain. Several different modalities can be used to administer radiotherapy in this context. With evolving techniques and technology. Radiotherapy has the potential to shift the paradigm for unresectable pancreatic cancer.
