A vibration fatigue analysis yields a more accurate evaluation of the durability life since it considers excitations that occur in the structure up to its natural frequency. However, vibration fatigue analysis of welding bogie frames of the rolling stocks are not yet taken into account in the norm EN.13749(requirements of the bogie frame). Therefore, in order to assure the safety of the rolling stocks, it is important to examined the vibration fatigue analysis of that under actual load histories. In this study, under load histories obtained from dynamic analysis results, static and vibration fatigue analysis of the welding bogie frame are performed by using durability software. Moreover, these results are compared with the fatigue life of the frame under the loading in the norm EN fatigue test condition.
