Study on Immune Effect of Montmorillonite (MMT) HIV DNA Vaccine by An Improved Prime-Boost Strategy

Objective To study the effect of montmorillonne(MMT) HIV DNA vaccine on immuno-logical function of mice by an improved "Prime-Bosst" (prime-boost-boost) strategy. Methods Detect the proliferation of murine spleen lymphocytes immunized with DNA vaccine plus MMT by H-TdR incorporation method, and the antibody and cytokine in sera by ELISA kit. Results Both vaccinia virus and vaccinia virus plus MMT improved the humoral and cellular immunological functions of immunized mice. Conclusion The "prime-boost-boost" strategy developed by authors showed good immune effect in mouse model.
