Armonía del caos

2021
This research book presents a diagnostic methodology for clinical application based on the theory of dynamic systems, probability, and entropy. It aims for the reader to grasp all the physical and mathematical context, as well as the basic concepts in the area of cardiology. It begins with the fundamentals of mathematical and physical thought and goes on with the new creations, as well as with the basic concepts of cardiology, and then it presents how the chaos theory and fractals are used to study the highly irregular behavior of cardiac dynamics. Various diagnostic methods developed from the physical-mathematical perspective are presented, as well as the path of thought that allowed its creation, including a new meth- od for evaluating arterial restenosis and new methods for evaluating adult cardiac dynamics from various theories, such as the dynamical systems or Zipf-Mandelbrot law. Additionally, a new exponential law with clinical applicability developed for cardiac attractors in the context of dynamic systems and fractal geometry is presented. Advances in the diagnosis of neonatal cardiac dynamics are also described. This path sets a roadmap in order to reach the description of the diagnostic methodology based on the theory of dynamic systems, probability and entropy, as well as the thought pattern that allowed us to reach this discovery and its clinical applications. Finally, a brief overview of other diagnostic and predictive methodologies developed in other areas of medicine is presented from the physical-mathematical context.
